Some foods do not need an introduction.  They do not need much preparation, cooking or pots and pans to clean afterwards.  No dressings or sauces. Some foods are just fine as they are, just like this fruit platter.

A perfect way to spend a sunny day, munching your way through refreshing, hydrating fruits which take just a few minutes to prepare.

You might notice I have taken a few shots of these fruits without much change to the platter!! But who could resist taking several shots of these beauties with the highlights from the sun outside making those gorgeous blackberries glisten like jewels! #sorrynotsorry 😉

This is definitely one type of food I really miss during the Winter months when all the Summer berries are out of season.

Summer Fruit Platter - Berries, Melon, Kiwi & Mango

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 ripe mango diced
  • 1 punnet strawberries washed
  • 1 punnet blackberries
  • 1 punnet blueberries
  • 1/4 melon sliced
  • 1 kiwi washed, sliced

Instructions
 

  • Prepare all of the fruits then simply arrange on a large platter before serving.
